🌙 Ramadan Community Announcement 🌙

Dear Beloved Community Members,

As we embrace Ramadan away from our families and navigate the beautiful journey in our new home of Australia, we find solace in each other’s company. We are excited to announce our upcoming Potluck Community Iftar, where we come together as one family to break our fasts just like we did back in our homelands.

Understanding the challenges of our busy Ramadan schedules, we’ve designed a two-step process to make organizing this event a breeze for everyone.

🔶 Step 1: RSVP – First Come, First Served!
Today, we’re initiating the first step by sharing a list for a maximum of 15 families. This list is pre-filled with our volunteers. Please add your family details in the same format, e.g., Humera Zeeshan (2 Adults and 3 Children). Let’s fill up the list together until we reach the capacity of 15 families. If we have room, we’ll gladly extend the list to accommodate more.

🔷 Step 2: Menu Selection – Be Quick to Secure Your Favorite Dish!
In the second step, our admins and volunteer team will post the menu. Each menu item will be picked by 4 families, with each responsible for bringing food for at least 20 people. Selections will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

🌟 Volunteer Contribution:
We kindly request a minimum contribution of $10 per family to support logistical costs such as venue hire, etc. However, please note that this monetary contribution is not compulsory. You are still warmly welcomed to join us for Iftar with a dish to share. If you wish to contribute, please message one of the admins, and we’ll gladly provide MOSAIC bank details.
